In a spirited celebration of wellness, harmony, and global unity, the 11th International Day of Yoga was observed with great enthusiasm at the National Carnival Centre, Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain. Hosted by the High Commission of India, the event brought together dignitaries, yoga enthusiasts, diplomats, and the public for a powerful morning of collective yoga practice and reflection.

Despite earlier weather concerns that prompted a brief venue adjustment, the event unfolded successfully and drew a large, engaged crowd.

The celebration featured keynote remarks by Mr. Wilfred Nicholas Morris, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, who emphasized the growing relevance of yoga in today’s world and its role in fostering both personal and global peace.
