Hindu Prachaar Kendra Hosts Heartwarming Fundraiser in-trinidad

Enterprise, Trinidad — June 29, 2025:
The Hindu Prachaar Kendra hosted a delightful afternoon of warmth, community, and culture through its annual fundraising event, “Chaai-Waai – An Afternoon of Tea, Snacks and Friendship,” held at Gilibia Marg, Raghunanan Road, Enterprise.

From 3 PM to 5:30 PM, guests enjoyed a serene yet spirited gathering that combined traditional refreshments with heartfelt camaraderie—all in support of the Kendra’s cultural, educational, and community outreach efforts.

The highlight of the day was the live Indian music, the vibrant ‘In-House’ Raffle, and the thoughtfully curated Thrift Shop, which together added a touch of cultural charm, excitement, and generosity to the event.

“Chaai-Waai is more than just an event,” said one volunteer. “It’s our way of building bonds and supporting a vision of cultural preservation and spiritual education for all generations.”

Tables were adorned with traditional snacks, chai blends, and sweets that reflected the Caribbean Hindu heritage, all prepared with love by volunteers and community members. Elders, youth, and families gathered in spirited conversation, laughter, and reflection, highlighting the unique role the Hindu Prachaar Kendra continues to play in nurturing unity among Trinidad’s Hindu population.

The success of the event reaffirms the community’s commitment to upholding Sanatan Dharma, supporting local initiatives, and fostering cultural pride across Trinidad and the wider Caribbean.
